So, how does the program work?

Your program experience revolves around 3 steps:

Baseline Session: Before you officially start the program, you complete a Baseline Session, where we collect your starting strength and performance measures.

Schedule & Train: This program meets you where you're at, so you can begin scheduling your 3x/week training program the very next day. We use your results - along with your personal goals - to build a program customized for you that we help you execute on, day-by-day, over the next 6 weeks.

Track & Win: You'll have weekly check-ins with your coach​es to troubleshoot any challenges.​ Before the end of the Kickstart, you'll schedule and complete a Milestone session ​so you can clearly mark the progress you've made.

What are the movements I'll be getting stronger in?

Your program is built around your performance in 5 movements:

Goblet Squat: You'll build leg and core strength with this move.

Push-up: Your upper body strength is guaranteed to improve as you learn new cues and progressions.

Chin-up: You'll build confidence in your ability to hang and learn to use your core and the "right" muscles to make more progress on chin-ups than ever before.

Loaded Carry: Your improved grip strength supports shoulder stability and overall quality of life.

Deadlift: Build confidence in safely picking up anything from the ground.

When are the semi-private training times?

You can book your sessions each week, Monday thru Friday:

Morning Times: 6-6:50am and 7-7:50am

Afternoon Times: 4:00-4:50pm and 5:00-5:50pm

How does the nutrition aspect work?

You'll receive a comprehensive food and hydration guide. Additional questions can be asked in our online community where coaches and other members provide ongoing support.

How long is the program?

The program is 6 weeks long, with 3 training sessions per week.

How do I know I'm making progress?

After your baseline session, we'll be assessing progress of individual markers every 2-3 weeks, depending on your training intensity and volume.

What happens once I've completed the Kickstart?

This is meant to be a kickstart, so you can either:

Transition to 1:1 coaching if you need more customization

Transition to Open Gym or Group Classes if you need less accountability but want to keep using the facility

What additional services are available?

PerformanceGaines also works with some of the best massage therapists and performance/movement coaches in the Bay Area. If you need additional recovery work, you can schedule sessions with them. Their rates are additional and outside the scope of this program.
